>> ^jiyanibi: I'd certainly appreciate a posh British accent over an American one, as I'm guessing Mr Gyllenhall will have (and the character in the latest PoP game had...ugh).
Agreed, baby steps here on the accent. Though, it is the same as was in the first of the new games.
I'm very glad it doesn't look like they took ANY character cues from Emo Within or Two Whiners.
What a dick head. I bet that wasn't in the 'script', to go around Kung Fu fighting eachother and acting up. I bet the one that was trying to be in character was getting really pissed off.
He never says that these topics are untrue, just that Scientologists find it offensive to talk about them. So in that sense at least, he never purgers himself before mighty 'El Ron'.
Yes it looked like it, but it's probably because he doesn't like his guests high on coke. Bowie was hardly doing any talking, since be probably didn't want to be there. It does not make for an ideal interview where the interviewer is carrying the guest and he would be thinking that it's reflecting badly on him as a professional.
>> ^Drax: He does slightly contradict himself when he says he joined up because he does quickly say something about wanting to be a soldier and fight in the war, but I mean if he's anything like me he's nervous as hell about talking in front of a bunch of strangers. I think what he was trying to convey was the attitude he had at that moment when he signed up.
He didn't say "fight in the war", he said "fight in a war". A very distinct difference. When I was a teen I remember glamourised about joining the army, experiencing combat and all that, I would dare guess most boys do. It wouldn't seem he's referring to an idealogical motivation to go to Iraq, at least given how he describes reacting to the Trade Tower attacks.
>> ^Duckman33: "Conspiracy-theory nuts"? "Crackpots"? Are insults really necessary?
Probably not, it's not the best way to get your point across to someone. But it is invariably frustrating talking to people who will completely disregard fact and evidence contrary to their opinion. Which is not to say they don't mean well! Sometimes the answer to something is a lot more simple and realistic than they'd like it to be.
